Glad's Nomination

Club: Merrylands
Area: Metro South West

Glad Pye has been a member of Merrylands Amateur Swimming Club since it was formed in 1968 and has been an active member of the Swimming NSW community for over 40 years. In that time, she has seen a countless number of swimmers through the Swimming NSW structure and has participated in all levels of our sport.

Glad has devoted an incredible amount of her time to Swimming on a Club, Area and State Level. Glad is a Life Member of Merrylands, Mt Pritchard, Blacktown City Swimming Clubs, the Metro South West Area (formerly the Cumberland District) and is also a Life Member of CHS (Combined High Schools Sports Association). She has devoted many years to ensuring the development and success of Swimming within these Clubs, the Cumberland District/Metro South West Area, Swimming NSW and NSW Schools.
