Sophia Vicic and Kayla Hine will represent Merrylands at the NSW State Open Water Championships which will be held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre on December 19-20, 2016.
This is the first time that Sophia has qualified for the Championships and her first State Championships.
Kayla and Sophia will be swimming in the 5km event on Monday. Dyana Crabb and Michael Evans will also be swimming at the meet on Monday in the 2.5km JX event.
