Teresa Johnson joined the club in the 2001/2002 season. Teresa became a Qualified Timekeeper in 2003 and was appointed as the club’s Chief Timekeeper from 2004 to 2007. Teresa has been a member of the
Club Committee since 2004, originally elected in the position of Junior Vice President. In the same year she also took on the role of Publicity Officer, a position she held until 2011.
Teresa has held several other positions during her time on the Club Committee including Social Secretary, Assistant Race Secretary, Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Secretary and has also been a
member of the Learn to Swim, Competition and 40th Anniversary Committees. She has also made valuable contributions to organising Club Uniforms, the club’s annual swimming meet and Presentation evenings.
Teresa has been a positive contributor to the club, encouraging participation across the membership and demonstrating a willingness to get involved in tasks that need to be performed. Teresa was awarded Life Membership in 2011.
