Graham Edwards was awarded the Aloysius Koh Services to Swimming Award at the Metro South West Presentation Evening on Saturday, 23rd May 2026.
Graham has provided outstanding service to swimming through his long-standing commitment to technical officiating within the Metro South West community.
He began his officiating journey by obtaining his Timekeeper accreditation under the Cumberland District, and went on to develop his skills and knowledge, achieving his Referee accreditation in 2015. Graham officiates regularly at our club races, in addition to his work at Metro South West meets and championships, and is well known across the area for supporting other clubs. He frequently assists with refereeing and officiating at club meets hosted by neighbouring clubs, demonstrating a strong commitment to the wider swimming community.
The Aloysius Koh Services to Swimming Award recognises exceptional contribution to technical officiating within the region. Named in honour of the late Aloysius Koh of Bankstown Sports Swimming Club, the award acknowledges individuals who have given outstanding service to the sport over many years.
Graham’s dedication and willingness to give his time and expertise exemplify the values this award represents.
Graham was also recognised by the area in 2018 as the Metro South West Technical Official of the Year.
