The Metro South West Area Speedo Sprint Series Heats were held at the Blacktown Aquatic Centre on February 2, 2014.
Merrylands was represented by a team of 9 swimmers who competed in 26 events. The team consisted of the following swimmers:

The Merrylands team had a successful meet with 24 new personal best times swum, all swimmers achieving at least one personal best time and 7 swimmers achieving personal bests in all their races. Many of
the swimmers reduced their times by substantial amounts and this is a great outcome considering they had only recently reduced their time during Club Championships.
The team had a great day as they cheered on their fellow swimmers. Congratulations to all our swimmers and thank you to Peter Johnston, Club Coach.
Speedo Sprint Series Heats
Nine club members represented Merrylands at the 2014 Speedo Sprint Series Heats at the Blacktown Aquatic Centre on Sunday, 2nd February, 2014.
