Graham Edwards was announced as the Metro South West Technical Official of the Year at the Metro South West Presentation Evening on Saturday night.

Graham was presented with the Jim Pye Award as recognition of his contribution to the Area's meets over the past year. Graham worked at every Area meet, officiating in a variety of roles including Referee and Starter. He also officiated at a number of other club meets throughout the area, assisting and supporting other clubs to run their meets and club races, and providing guidance to other officials.

Graham has also officiated at the NSW Metropolitan Championships and Swimming NSW Development Meets over the past year, further developing his officiating skills.

Two of our members were also recognised on the evening for their volunteer work at our club.

Ian Wilson and Graham Edwards were both recognised for their work at the club over the past season, setting up the pool on Saturday mornings, officiating at our club races and swim meets, teaching learn to swim, and for their work on the Club Committee.

Congratulations to both Graham and Ian!
