Merrylands will be represented by 9 swimmers at the 2026 Metro South West Short Course Championships at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre this weekend.
Our team is competing in 26 individual events across the two-day championship meet.

A special milestone this weekend will be achieved by Jude Johnston, who will make a debut appearance at the Metro South West Championships. Qualifying for a championship meet is a significant achievement, and everyone at Merrylands is excited to see Jude compete at this level for the first time.
Among the busiest swimmers on the team will be Tomas Dlesk, who will contest five events, while Joseph Assi, William Johnston and Jay Shrestha will each compete in four events.
