About The Inter-Club Cup

The annual Cumberland Inter-Club Cup was first held in the 2013/2014 season at Granville Swimming Centre. The meet is contested by the Parramatta City, Merrylands and McCredie Park swimming clubs and rotates between the 3 clubs' home pools of Granville Swimming Centre, Merrylands Swimming Centre and Wentworthville Swimming Centre.

Originally called the Parramatta Inter-Club Cup, the meet was contested by the Parramatta City, Merrylands and Parramatta Memorial swimming clubs and rotated between Granville, Merrylands and Parramatta Swimming Centres. With the closure of Parramatta Swimming Centre in 2017, Parramatta Memorial withdrew from the competition and McCredie Park Aquatics were invited to send teams to the meet.

With the Council amalgamations in 2016 and the addition of McCredie Park to the meet, the 3 participating clubs now all reside in Cumberland City so in 2024 the meet was renamed to the Cumberland Inter-Club Cup.
